Welcome to Nookieland
Nookieland is a live-action preschool program from Midnight Entertainment that celebrates curiosity, problem-solving, and friendship. In a vibrant, tactile world, five raccoon-like friends called Nookies discover that the biggest adventures can happen in their own backyard.
The Magic of an Idea
Whenever one of the Nookies has a bright idea, the special shape on their belly lights up! This visual cue helps preschoolers connect the "Aha!" moment of discovery with the fun of finding a solution. It's a key part of how the show encourages creative thinking.
Behind the Fur
The Nookies are brought to life through a blend of physical performance and advanced animatronics. Talented actors wear detailed, full-body costumes, while puppeteers off-screen control the intricate movements of each Nookie's face. This allows for a range of emotions and expressions that make the characters feel truly alive.
